1.) A
2.) Do you believe there is a "war" being waged against Christmas? 3.) If yes, do you think this "war" is being waged by No. Well yes, in the sense that I believe the media is waging the war on both fronts. It's a nice break for them to have something to talk about for hours on end without actually, you know, reporting the news.
4.) Are you offended by the phrase "happy holidays?" If so, why? No.
5.) What does "happy holidays" mean to you? b.) Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, Happy Channukah Maybe a very mild 'c.)'.
People have always said "happy holidays" in the past. It has always meant 'b.)' to me. It is only this year (and very little comparitivly last year) that I am hearing that this was done as a deliberate war on christmas.
6.) Do you watch tv "pundit" shows such as O'reilly, Hannity and Colmes, Hardball, etc? Which ones do you enjoy the most? How often do you watch them?
I don't listen to any of that crap. The national news already has enough spin on it. Heck, I can barely stand the local news nowadays. They basically turn what should be 5 minutes worth of news into 12 hours of jabber. Seriously. The time it takes to report on the real news would last about 10 minutes per day.
What I can't figure out is which group (the left or right or both) likes the fact that the 'war on christmas' is in the news. One group over reacts to anothers goading. Both come out looking like idiots.
Take the phrase "war on christmas" off the news and no one would have even paid attention to what people are saying/doing.
