No actually its not. Its embedded in Islam is tolerance and respect first and protection of one's beliefs second. Of course you know this, but you're just trying to make a pathetic point because your knowledge about general topics, as always, is very lacking.

Christian extremism followed the exact same course as Islamic extremism with strict interpretations of the bible leading to the deaths of hundreds upon thousdands of Christians and non-christians alike centuries before the Holocaust. All religious text is ambiguous enough to be interpreted in any way shape or form. You may have "studied" islam, but you are not a scholar or academic if this very basic of principles has escaped your realm of understanding.

The Prophet you are referring to is Muhammad. Muhammad was abused, maligned, scolded, beaten, along with its adherents for 12 years in Makkah (often pronounced and written as Mecca), before making migration to Madinah (similarily medina). In Mecca, all he stated was to belief in One God and that belief in him as a Messenger. After many years of drought in Mecca, along with him and his adherents being beaten for their belief, even narrations of some of them being killed, they went to Madinah. Afterwards when the polytheists of Makkah, the Quraysh (which you dubbed as being a kingdom in your post. There was no actual Kingdom in Arabia at that time. Please see any orientalist or pro islamist of stating the opposite) broke their treaty with these early Muslims of no warfare, no pilgrimage for some years, by killing Muhammad's adherents, then Muhammad's followers along with himself saw this as betrayal, and came back to Makkah from Madina. On his conquest of Makkah (He just stepped foot in), Muhammad didn't kill any of his enemies. What he did was astonishing. He forgave them. He went to the Kabbah, the house build by Abraham and his son Ishmael, and got rid of the idols, as his sole mission was to worship the One God, the creator of the Universe and its beings.

Muhammad, by Martin Lings. Also there is the Muhammad biography by Karen Armstrong. There has been many writings on Islam by John Esposito as well.

More importantly, is that you have to understand Arabic. Majority of the classical literature in Islam is in Arabic, and some orientalists of the past centuries has purposely, and grotesquely mistranslated for the purposes of polemics (Christian or Atheism).
