of course the fanbase isn't complaining when they get more home games
what I'm talking about is K using his prestige to bully other coaches in to playing the tough matchups at Cameron1/3/2006 1:50:15 AM |

We are just saying that Coach K rarely schedules hard games on the road and actually at that teams place. 1/3/2006 11:46:51 PM |

Part of the reason why it sucks that the round robin is no longer consistent due to expansion. 1/4/2006 9:07:13 AM |

ya know looking at our own pre-conference schedule we too play a lot of home games...i don't think it's a conspiracy on K's part. 1/4/2006 9:19:58 AM |

That's actually not a bad point...we've played two actual away games, only one by choice (the other in the Big 10 challenge). ND was considered neutral court; there are two ways to look at that game, though. It was in Indiana (advantage: ND), but it was the day of an ND football game (advantage: us).
So although it doesn't change the fact that K has scheduled precisely zero actual away games this year, looking at the rest of the majors indicates that most teams only played about two away games in Nov/Dec. this year. 1/4/2006 9:39:45 AM |
