That link is great... except I need to find homes for the bunnies quickly (by the end of march) and that site says the average time is 3-6 MONTHS! They only take animals directly from shelters On top of that, they are full right now; they can only have 10-15 animals at a time... i have 7 bunnies to find homes for

i've been there. it all started with 1 male and 1 female bunny...and led to me trying to find homes for many bunnies/rabbits.

This is exactly why you should have your pet fixed... ok sorry, now I will try to be helpful:

go to http://www.petfinder.com and search for rabbits around the Raleigh area. Look through your results and find a rescue organization that will let you list your rabbits through them. You will still have to keep them with you, but at least you can reach a wider audience.

You can take them to the SPCA but you do run the risk that if they can't find foster homes they may not make it. Try putting up fliers in vet offices. Avian and Exotic Animal Care has an area where you can list the bunnies and Dixie Trail Animal Clinic has a bulletin board (both in Raleigh). Whatever you do, DO NOT let the rabbits go to fend for themselves, they will die.

It can be a lot of work to find homes for these pets, but please do more than just post on TWW. Try the posters, try petfinder.com, and if nothing else, surrender them to the SPCA.

since they're young the SPCA will probably put them in the adoption center.
last time i was there they had likke 4 or 5 rabbits but should have more space.

I still have 7 bunnies the boys are fixed. I can bring them up to Raleigh the weekend after we get back from spring break.

The bunnies are in Charlotte so if anyone wants to see them they are more than welcome to I also have a picture in a frame in my apt if you want to see that. Since my camera is broken & they are in Charlotte it has been hard to get digital pics Sorry
