^ i second that. we are doing awesome this year, get over what has happened in the past and let what is going to happen happen. At this point I am very satisfied with making the sweet sixteen last year and having a top 15 team going into our game against UNC where we have a great chance at winning if we keep playing the same way we have been. All things considered Herb has had this program on the steady uprise since he got here. Stop expecting perfection and take what we can get. We compete with UNC and Duke for athletes and Herb has done a damn good job with what we have.

Just a quick thought -- People boo'ing Herb now are stupid, yes.. but I mean, does every fan have to like the the coach, regardless of what kind of success the team has? It's not a rule to be a fan of every single person involved with NC State athletics. I personally don't like Herb Sendek. He's doing a pretty good job now and last year but I just don't really like him. I want us to win and I'm glad we're winning now, but I don't like his coaching style.
I know everybody is going to say it works and that's all that matters but to me, it's not. I don't like our style of offense, I don't like his demeanor on the sideline, I don't like his choice of substitutions and timeout/lack of timeout usage. Following a sport and being a fan isn't just about wins and losses, it's enjoying watching something that you really love. Watching our basketball team play is really hard sometimes and just because you complain about it doesn't mean you are a faggot or a crybaby.

With that said, there are some people that take it too far sometimes and boo and call for Herb to be fired and yes, those people are stupid. I just wanted to make it clear I wasn't on the Fire Herb wagon

its ok not to like certain people in the athletic department, yes. I personally hate Lee Fowler. I just don't like people talking shit about our team even before we have done something bad. Yes it has happened in the past but we also have two national championships. If you don't like Herb's style of offense or whatever, fine, don't talk shit about him being a bad coach because that is far from the truth.
