From the experts' Power 16 on insider, Jay Bilas said:
Quote :
"The polls are wack. I spend three minutes a week on this, because it matters not what we think, it matters what the players do on the floor and we don't have some bowl system to deal with."

Three minutes eh? I'm sure that makes people feel good that they pay money for "insider" opinions only to find out some those insiders don't even make an effort

(I say some because there is some good insider stuff, but alot of is crap by Bilas and Steve Phillips, who has to be the worst baseball insider in history)

NC State
NC State has won four straight and five of six. Included are a pair of double-overtime thrillers on the road.

Best win (RPI): @Boston College (No. 25)
Worst loss (RPI): @North Carolina (No. 30)

KENT ST
Losing at Toledo was ugly. Winning the tiebreaker game over Akron was essential.

Best win (RPI): Akron (No. 68)
Worst loss (RPI): Bowling Green (No. 235)

"The Wolfpack are being overshadowed in the "Duke's awesome" ACC, but two double-OT wins and two others by a total of six points in the last four aren't strong enough evidence to push up much higher than this right now."

yeah it is . . . it proves that we can win the close ones, that we have a lot of grit. That is something that we haven't been able to do in a while and is what ultimately separates good teams from average teams.

Now I'm not saying that we are the best team in the country, or anything close to it. But we are a good team.

"Worst loss (RPI): @North Carolina (No. 30)"

Why is Seton Hall not our worst for RPI? That was a home loss and home losses are weighted more than away ones.

^^seton hall is slightly better in the rpi than unc, that's all the "worst loss" is based on as far as i can tell.
