Bears are good...Defensively, Garbage Offensively. Panthers are a different team with Foster Starting. And yeah most people not thinking or realizing that Grossman is a first time playoff starter...Polished defenses eat that for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Chicago's offense did not score a TD on the panthers, the defense did, don't look for that to happen again with a solid running game. Yeah Foster may not have 150, but he will have a solid 80 at the least with Nick Goings getting 30-45 yds. Count that for a rushing td or 2...possibly one passing td, and FG or two...easy points....

Chicago will not score more than 12/13 points...13 if they pull a kick off or punt back. Panthers win 20-10

Sportswriters in Chicago have been dissing the Panthers, we all know how that worked out for the Eagles in the '03 playoffs and the Giants last week

I say 13-10 Panthers

^ that will not happen.

Delhomme fucks up way too much against great defenses to not put them in field goal range at least once.

What was the TOP in the Giants game? I think the Panther defense was out on the field for like 19 minutes, and the 4th quarter snaps were from reserves I'm guessing? That helps guys like Buckner, Rucker, Morgan, Minter, etc...Should be a good matchup. If you have a young team, the bye week can bite you, whereas a veteran team, like the Colts, will help them. Not sure if the bears are a predominantly young or veteran team?

^less than that...I think it was like 42:45 to 17:15 or something...crazy TOP advantage to the Cats

I'd say the Bears are young and veteran...BUT...their starting QB and head coach have zero playoff experience...so in that sense they are a young team

I love how Grossman is somehow the messiah and will lead the bears to the superbowl. the man has played 8 games. I call injury in the 2nd quarter. I dont wish that on him but I call it on a blindside sack by J pep

i think the biggest difference in our defense is the way we are rushing extra guys in,
cause if you watch tapes right after the snap our front four command the attention of all the o-line creating huge holes where line backers and safeties can rush in

also i hope we have alot of two back formations to protect delhomme and pass the heck out of the ball or run it down their fat necks

panthers 34, bears 3

First off if Grossman is right handed there is no way Pep will blindside him, Ruck might. Lovie Smith might not have playoff experience as a head coach but he does as an asst. coach. Grossman gives the bears more of a passing threat, but really if you look at these teams they are like mirror images, both rely on ball control and both have good tackling defenses. The key will be who wins 1st and 2nd downs.

lets compare panthers and bears

defense, both great
home field, bears, but panthers play their best on the road
quarterbacks, panthers have a pro bowler, bears have a midnight bowler
coaches, both good
WR, actually very close to being the same except muhammad has to have a good qb to be effective,
smith can play great even when the qb is off

There's no way Pep can blindside Grossboy? how about if they switch sides?

theres no way he can blindside grossman because that would imply that the bears would actually try a passing play

or perhaps more accurately, pep wont blindside him because that would imply grossman waits long enough to throw a long pass when in reality when they pass the ball it will just be short slants and crosses and screens

you mean robertson? yeah he's really undersized though and hasn't had much experience, although in the preseason he was doing decently, it would have been awesome if we eric shelton to take stephen davis' place. evidently shelton is a brute when it comes to the power running game
