How about the two times that Gavin went into the paint and shot air balls from 5 ft away. There was no call on either and the shots didn't get blocked. I guess its normal for D1 players to airball 5 ft shots.

absolute hilarity. Read the threads on the refs. They thought ACC refs were good coming in this year!

* It's also interesting to see that it is split pretty evenly on those who wish they were still in teh Big East (of course only in bball). I mean they have really no natural rival in the ACC and their 'fans' can't travel to games as easily.

I still believe firmly that State must overcome a 10-15 point handicap due to ACC referees. John Swofford runs the ACC, and to think he has no influence over referees or their focus during a game is stupid. We need a commish that has no bias. Get someone who didn't go to one of the schools, letter at that school in football, play the role of AD at that school, have anything named after them at that school, etc. John Swofford is too entangled in UNC to be unbiased. Get him out!
