T Hall was not our best WR during Rivers last year. There is a guy named Jerricho Cotchery that played that year. I think he is in the NFL now.

Fatty Fulmer said that he couldn't enroll in any college with less than 6 degrees of separation from Tennessee.

He is going to play football at a little-known school in Bangladesh. Unfortunately for him, they play futbol a little differently than we do.

Press Conference set for 3pm PST, 6pm EST, on Friday afternoon.

He will have three helmets and choose one. Wisconsin, NCSU, or Ole Miss.

he's making himself feel like he's just "the man" or something...dragging this crap all out

I'm tired of hearing his name. If he's the next Rivers, bring him on, but I'm tired of seeing his name all over this place.

He's not dragging it out. He made a bad decision the first time and is making sure he makes the right choice the 2nd time. I don't blame him at all. Plus, he is committing now instead of on Signing Day because his decision could alter some decisions of other kids on his team being recruited. I believe we're active with one of their top two WR's.

according the the thread long ago both of their top two recievers want to go with him, or atleast wouldnt mind.

both are big play guys and frankly I'd be excited for us to get either.

i think one of the two will be back at C.O.S. because of grades, but the other looks good to qualify and take it to the next level. either passmore or nicolas, i can't remember which one.

C.O.S. finished 8-3.

Yes, that's him.

"Geron James is supposedly a badass... next NCSU "breakout" receiver"

i hate to deviate from the thread topic but i wanted to back you up on the hype i've been hearing about this kid. he is from my hometown and everyone there that watched him in high school keeps telling me to watch out when he gets a chance at playing.

i just have to smile and nod because i don't know what kind of qb we have that can get him the ball, in addition to all of the other question marks on offense.

i've never seen him play personally, but i've been told frequently to watch for a breakout as well.

Everything I've heard as well sounds like Geron's the real deal. He will be a redshirt freshman next year since he got hurt this year, right. He played a little this year but don't think it was enough to eliminate medical redshirt.

Newell and James will be scary out there next year... hopefully.

There's some kinda "crazy new news" being chatted about over at the PackPride forums.

Anyone have a paid membership and care to share? Those tools won't say.

Geron and his brother roderick are two of my good friends since back in middle school and high school. Geron's dad is a great guy and doesn't push geron to do anything he doesn't want him to do, thus he played soccer first like roderick then switched. I am 6ft 3 185, he is 6ft 3 190 now...he also has less body fat and more speed. Watch out for him when he gets a chance to play. Right now he is just enjoying college though. We will see how serious he gets.

no new brent news really. He had a leader before his Ole Miss visit this past weekend (everyone thinks NC State), but the Ole Miss visit "clouded" everything up, so hes thinking about it this week and will commit at his presser on friday

the Word is that state feels very good about their chances...the only thing that could go wrong is if OM opens their wallets and pays BS and/or offer his bro a scholly. The first option is how we lost him to UT the first time..

im just saying that is what our staff is most worried about, the $$$. It's how the $EC operates.

a good thing we have going for us, hopefully BS realizes taking the money the first time didn't exactly work out, and if he denies it this time he may have a better chance to make a lot more of it later.

^Well not everyone in Salisbury thought that much of him. Yes, West Rowan & the Post were all on him, but what do they know? (considering that the only pro athletes over the last decade from our county was a backup guard & a fucking punter) Many didn't think he had the toughness, size, & athleticism to play in the ACC though. I mean hell, UNC wanted nothing to do with him. What's that say?

alright Scooter might have been a little overrated as a top 10 recruit, BUT...

He was a pure shooter (minus his slump late SR year which most shooters go through as teh pressure builds). He was scared to put the ball on the floor b/c of Herb.

You put Shooter Sherrill in a Kentucky jersey and he would have become Scorer Sherrill.

Holy shit. I just found out from reading this thread that Brent Schaeffer is black. Now, we REALLY need him.

Black Quarterbacks throw a lot of incompletions, but when they scramble they get first downs.

White Quarterbacks throw completions, but when they scramble they get nothing.

We have a rare breed in Marcus Stone.

He's a white quarterback who throws incompletions and gets nothing when he scrambles.
