"Red Terrors" is wack and so is "Rowdies"

"Red Terrors" is about as bad as that video of the GT game some guy posted.
I think they are one in the same so god save us all on that one.

It's a funny thing. You get a nickname because you somehow earn it for your actions.

I thought they were going to start giving priority points to the fans who went to the crappy games.

If they're going to spend the money on the system, which they have already done, figure out some way to get the best fans the best seats. Put the fucking cell phone talkers in the 300 level and let the real fans have the courtside seats.


And for those of you who knock the wolfpack club, knock it all you want...there are definately a fair share of tool bags in that club. However, there are the people like myself who just want the sideline seats. I dont make the cheer sheet...that thing is pretty fucking lame, but I did exaust all of my energy yelling on saturday...I think thats what counts.

If you have better cheers, go to the SWPC website and e-mail the board members your ideas.

While I dont really want us to have a name, I do think it would help get people to the games, and once they are there, to get louder....especially with a name like rowdies, or terrors.

maybe we should start a thread before each game and make our own cheer sheets. everyone post stuff they would like to see on it; someone puts it all together and then someone who knows the places to print for free goes and makes copies for the games.

I always sit sideline seats and it pisses me off when i look next to me and someone is just standing there. and even worse, at the georgia tech game there were about 4 girls on the front row on the sideline who refused to stand up

as far as just standing there goes, i'd rather the student section stand still/wave hands and yell than have 1/4 - 1/2 of the people jumping up and down and the rest on their feet standing still. it looks really stupid, esp. on tv. and if the student section is trying to build a 'rep,' stuff like that needs to be all or nothing. the worst is when there's a group of like 4 dudes jumping and NO ONE ELSE.

i like the shirt, drop the weed leaf though. you might also want to drop the block S (possilbly "wolfpack" too). i know alotta times people run into licensing issues with the university due to use of their "logos" w/out permission. its possible to get permission, but they'll more than likely want a cut of the shirt sales. just a red and white ball would still look good. you could get red shirts with white ink cheaper than 2-color printing. just my $.02

i like Herb's Buds, it reminds me of Amato's Amigos, and of course i like Reynold's Rowdies version 2.0, it keeps the tradition alive. on a side note i really think we need a NC State Basketball Hall of Fame or a least statues of Case, Sloan, and Valvano. something that makes oppossing fans envious. there's way too much tradition and history in State's basketball program. do any other bball schools have a HOF? i know Alabama has the Paul "Bear" Bryant Museum for their football program.
