Just to get my two cents in...

the seahawks average starting field position was around the fifty yard line. Normally a 52 yard field goal is around the thirty yard line (30+10 for endzone and +7 for snap/hold). So its not like the seahawks had to go very far in order to get into scoring position (about two first downs). Early interceptions didn't help the field position battle.

John Fox's philosophy is run the ball to establish the pass, which rests the D so they can be more physical. We never had a good run game all year but our passing game made up for it (those quick hits and bubble screens). Finally someone figured out how to stop our only reciever who is worth a damn and we had nothing to fall back on. As a result our D couldn't be themselves and we were screwed.

Mike Holgrem did a great job of exposing carolina's weakness.

Lets just hope carolina and get it fixed for next season

thats exactly what i'm saying. it wasnt meant to be a "excuse" for this game. it was more a summation of the entire season. stop assuming everyone's an idiot and you might be able to have intelligent discourse.
