Hell yeah man - I used to get some brand of green tea at HT and put a little natural honey in it just to make it taste a little better. I made a gallon jug at a time - worked out pretty well and was really chep when I made it in bulk like that.

Not if it's the loose leaf stuff with all the real cardamom pods and cloves in it. Mmmmm. And if I'm wrong, I don't want to be right.

I'm a huge fan of loose leaf aromatic blacks like Earl Grey. Green just isn't my thing.

I really love Hisbiscus tea but it's a bit hard to find in the US. My grandmother sent some from Germany once and they opened the shit out of it at customs and thought it was pot, since it was loose crushedtea leaves.

Peppermint tea is the shit, however.

There used to be a tea parlor in Northgate Mall here in Durham called All My Tea something or other and they had TONS of different kinds and you could buy it by the ounce or whatnot...Black Cherry Vanilla tea and Christmas Spice all kinds, maybe about 50 varieties. You could also come in and have a cup of tea and a scone, it was pretty badass for the ghetto mall that Northgate is.

the best green tea will always be loose tea...i like the kind with mint in it. Go to whole foods and be astounded...they have more tea there than you will ever care to sort through.

so i keep trying tea, to try to find one i like. i've had chai before, not a fan. a while ago, i had some tea my friend made that was good. it looked about the same color as 'typical southern iced tea', but it was definitely more earthy and herbal. it was cold, and sweetened slightly. I liked it, and I think I'm more of a cold beverage person than a hot bev person. I've also tried a taste of an HonesTea before, but I wasn't impressed.

i know there are a lot of suggestions thrown out there, but any general info? i don't know what tea that's brownish in color is considered (black tea?). pretty much a tea n00b, but i'm trying to find some teas I like, because I think it's something good to include in your day-to-day diet.

^ If you like earthy, herbal teas, try mint tea. Sweeten to taste, although that one i've only had hot. i've heard you can have it cold however and it's okay (dont quote me)

Lipton Instant Green Tea is excellent and I don't even like tea.

The only other tea I used to drink was Taco Bell's Peach Iced Tea.

If you drink it waaaaaaaay too much, you can develop kidney stones from the oxalates. Tea leaves have high amounts of oxalic acid, but brewing in such small quantities doesn't give a huge dose of it. Anyway, just be sure to not pound the tea back (like, more than ten cups a day) without any other fluids. Otherwise, don't worry about it too much.

Sounds like either a fruity rum drink or a sexual position...

Uh, the sexual position or the drink? As to the drink, I have heard some say that Tahitian Treat is EXCELLENT with alcohol--most likely vodka. Stay away from rum, it seems to be more dehydrating than other types of alcohol--and the hangover is murder!

Tahitian Treat is a red-colored, carbonated fruit punch. It is sweet and tastes like something between strawberry and cherry. And despite the fact that it contains "glycerol ester of wood rosin," I have not experienced heartburn or any other ill effects.

PS: I am NOT being compensated in any way for promoting this product; I just like it. I got tired of Coke and Pepsi--so I went for something different. I've started drinking RC cola, too, which is very good. One warning about RC: It goes flat very fast; you should definitely drink a 2 liter within two days.

PPS: I also love sweet tea, BUT YOU CANNOT COUNT ON IT BEING CONSISTENTLY GOOD AT VARIOUS RESTAURANTS!!! So, I order soda.

That's actually in quite a few sodas.

Why did you post any of this here? This thread is about tea.

And lastly, learn how to edit your mistakes rather than reposting.
