If that's all you have to hang your hat on, it's pretty fucking pathetic. George Washington hasn't played ANYONE. Look at their fucking schedule. Notre Dame is extremely weak and Boston College has been nothing but disappointing this season.

What the fuck makes anyone think that State actually has a shot at winning the title? To win a championship, you have to beat great teams. We haven't beaten ANY.

Take a look at GW's schedule. Point out a good win for me. Seriously, point out ONE good win. They're a joke.

Boston College is still in the top 15 because of their pre-season hype and because of their potential, something they JUST started showing. They were a huge disappointment to start the season and, while they've made strides towards improvement, they're still far, far, fucking far from contending for a national title.

Every ranked team has bad games but I guaran-fucking-tee that this year's national champion won't have suffered a 20-point blowout to a team like Seton Hall. That's a BAD fucking sign.

I can't believe you're trying to say that we're a non-choking team. What are you basing that on? Games against weak conference foes in a weakened conference? Look at our big games. We choked the fuck out of the Iowa game, choked horribly in the UNC game and choked at the end of the Duke game. It's not just the fact that we lost those games, it's HOW. This will continue to occur as long as Sendek is coaching our team.

There are no great teams in college basketball this year.

The team that wins the championship will be the team who sneaks past 3 teams into the elite 8 then catches fire to beat 3 more good teams this year. Nobody has it locked up, and we have the POTENTIAL to win it all. Thats different from saying we ARE going to win it all. I like our chances as much as any team other than Duke and UCONN....but they're not great teams like we've seen in the past.

Duke 90, 91, 92, 99, 01, State 73, 74, UCLA 4 in a row, UCONN 99, 04, UNC national champ teams and a few more.


Teams like those where everyone agrees that they are hands down better than everyone else. Nobody will say this Duke team is as good as teams in the past. Last year it was UNC and Illinois that were clearly a step above everyone else, but those were two great teams. Right now the two best teams are DUke and UCONN, but nobody is going to say that they are better by as much as the previously mentioned teams were. Great teams have no glaring weaknesses....something you cant say about the teams this year.
