Not everyone handles Christmas the same way you think they do. Not everyone decorates for Christmas the same way you think they do. Simply because a large number of people claim to be Christian (like 75%) does not mean the average person's actions represent the thoughts and actions of Christians everywhere.

people have different meanings they apply to Christmas.
sure, it's a great time to get together with family and give to each other.
mine happens to see it as a great opportunity to recognize the birth of Jesus Christ also.
whoever hates it, i'm sorry that you feel that way. i can't personnally change your mind or your opinion, but i highly recommend it; it's a great idea.

agnostic's reasons for circumcision:

(1) its easier to clean your junk. no flaps of skin for the fumunda cheese to crust up in.

(2) at least one major world religion requires it to get into heaven. no major world religions list it as prohibitive of getting into heaven. hey ya never know, and it's just a useless flap of skin anyhow.

(3) circumcised dudes are more likely to be invited to a porn shoot.

(4) its more aerodynamic

(5) chicks dig it.

Im sure it was an important hygenic requirement back when ppl didnt shower or have soap very often. Nowadays its probably just tradition and ignorance, tho I gotta say the (few) foreskins I've seen in pictures gross me out .
