I don't know how it happened. But reportedly, GrumpGOP made the girl cry so hard that it ruined her life and her parents called or contacted tdub to have the threads deleted, which they subsequently were.

Grumpy found a picture of her and, needless to say, wasn't the most flattering picture. But no picture of her was.

She deserved it though. She was being a real bitch in a thread in the lounge about someone who was pondering whether to take their cat in for emergency surgery or wait for the vet to open the morning after. Lizzie blew up saying that people who can't afford pets shouldn't have them blah blah blah... then rode in GrumpyGOP. He tore her up. It was quite literally, the most hilarious thing I had seen, maybe ever.

ive been reading a few other message boards lately (namely, Somethingawful's Comedy Goldmine) and I REALLY think it would be great if there were a permanent place for the original threads that "make history" here (if the moments were recorded mostly within one thread)

I think it would be a fantastic time to do it actually since Jake and Joe are (hopefully) brainstorming a patch for the html exploit that fucked everyone over.

It would also be a great time for them to Put their FOOT down again, and encourage stricter moderation by moderators that they kept their eyes on.
This place used to be heavily moderated, it pissed a few people off (including me) but the fondest memories i have of TWW seem to date back to when NOBODY got away with ANYTHING
(including the moderators' friends)

if i remember correctly, he/maybe some others made fun of her a little in normal TWW fashion, and she blew it totally out of proportion and made a huge scene about it

so then he just kept tearing into her more and more. they more drastically she'd respond, the more she'd get crushed. it was pretty funny.
