seems like the test was easier than the first, or at least version 3 was for me. only a couple of random questions i was unsure of, such as a generic brand question and descriptions of innovators, both which i guessed correctly

I hated that class (I took it in 2001). Back then this this question was on the test:

Software makes production possible on which of the following:

a) Desktop
b) Workstation
c) Server
d) Mainframe

I kid you not. Yes, there was no "e) all of the above" option. The answer was "a" IRRC. This was just one example of the stupidity of that class. Another example was:

"If you do the assignment (make a web page or a spreadsheet) exactly the way it is written you will get a "B". You have to do something extra to get an "A."

"Could you give us an example of "something extra?"

"No You have to come up with it on your own."

Gets a "D" on the assignment. "What gives?"

"The extras you added to the assignment threw the totals on the spreadsheet off, you should not have added extra numbers to the spreadsheet."

I hope you have a new instructor. The one I had was an idiot.

a. underlining and "bolding" are helpful to readers -- no, because p125 of FYC III says to avoid underlining
b. "inviting to the eye" means lots of white space -- yes, because it is stated in the ppt slides for FYC III in resume general guidelines
c. lying or exaggerating on resumes is rarely tolerated -- no, because isn't that NEVER tolerated?
d. it's good to have someone else proofread your resume -- no, because it is stated in the ppt slides for FYC II that TWO others should proof for you

27 he said its a bad question, the answer should be A and D but that wasnt an option

#37 is D because its in the ppt slides for FYC II (slide 2-9)
