see allot of people putting fsu/miami and ga./fla. above fsu/fla. All of the UF and FSU fans that i know consider FSU/UF to be biggest rival. I mean, the state govt. shuts down on like wed. during the week leading up to this game.

Ok, the Duke/UNC rivalry has only been around since coach K came to Duke. I was in Austin Texas a few months ago right after they beat Oklahoma, and after being around all those UT students(a school that has about 60,000 students by the way) I came to the conclusion that after being in the triangle for so long, I didn't know what a serious rivalry was. (not to talk down the rivalries here)

I mean the red river rivalry outdates the state of Oklahoma itself.

Ohio State Michigan. Nothing Else Compares....... Ever. Two Full States of Fans, both have stadiums seating 101,000 people, great football teams, contention for the Big 10 Title EVERY year. And don't say basketball rivalries because they don't even come close.

people shoulda seen ann arbor this year for the OSU game. absolutely insane.

when I was in the ncsu marching band, away at the OSU game, they were very friendly, letting us use their music facility, and providing us with refreshments. but in the background on a large projector/tv they had the michigan game on (forget who they were playing that day) and all of the OSU band members were sitting around booing Michigan avidly. Made me a little less eager to reveal my UM shirt I had on under my uniform
