Shit, you can get a Dreamcast that is still as functional as an xbox360 or ps3 and much cheaper but its nowhere near comparable in graphics and processing power. Understand that there is a reason consoles are costing an arm and a leg these days and its not inflation. If the power is going ot be there then the cost has to be too... SOny and Microsoft are already taking a loss on every console.3/16/2006 10:51:38 PM |

The revo will have a motion-sensing controller. The other systems will not.
Considering that, technically, it's MORE functional than the other systems. It can play games, it has better graphics than current gen systems, it can go online, and can play Gamecube games and use Gamecube controllers.
The other systems will have better graphics, but I don't think that the Revolutions graphics will be so bad that people can't stand to buy one. 3/16/2006 11:27:53 PM |

What is it that makes people argue about things that aren't even available yet?
Is there some kind of problem with waiting until the consoles are on the market before you decide which is better? 3/17/2006 1:13:06 AM |

Motion-sensing controllers are old news. Hellm I have like a 5 year old Wingman Extreme game pad with it. Any console can get one of there is really that much need for it. Even considering the idea that a Revo will be nearly as functional as a PS3 or 360 is nonsense. As for graphics.. it will be about what you see with standard xbox now No, it won't be horrific but it won't be anything remotely close to what the other consoles and PC's are generating.3/17/2006 10:43:35 AM |

That is because Nintendo is aiming for the crowd that will take gameplay over graphics. 3/17/2006 10:51:20 AM |

Not Twilight Princess, but a new Zelda game for the DS.
I'm a recent Zelda fan, and I haven't played Wind Waker (OoT hooked me), but this looks pretty cool. If I wasn't so lazy already, I would get a DS to play this game (i've been itching to get a DS for a while between Metroid and Mario Kart). Plus, the portable game systems are too small for my freakishly long fingers, which makes them cramp up fairly quickly. 3/25/2006 1:49:30 AM |

Quote : | "Aonuma Alludes to Twilight Princess Surprises by Terrell Chambers (03/29/06)
Web site HM-Fusion posted an interview conducted at the recent Game Developers Conference with Eiji Anonuma, producer of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, where he talks about the game's secret relationship to Nintendo's next-generation console, code-named Revolution.
When asked if the extra year of production on Twilight Princess had anything to do with support for Revolution's freestyle controller, Aonuma responded that the game "will be utilising the Revolution hardware, although not in a way many will expect." Nintendo has mentioned that other secrets about Revolution have yet to be revealed, with Aonuma's comment suggesting that Twilight Princess might utilize one of these mysterious functions.
More information from the interview, including information on its puzzles and a possible bonus disc, can be found here.
Revolution Report will continue to bring you more information on the mysterious connection between Twilight Princess and Revolution as it becomes available. " |
