I'll just claim 99% until someone proves me wrong (and of course its an exaggeration you dolt).

I just remember sitting being put in front of a TV for a UNC/State basketball game when I was 3 years old. My mom was cheering for State and my dad was cheering for UNC. I started pulling for the Wolfpack and have been doing so ever since. That was 19-20 years ago...and I would assume that's longer than the majority of the board. My grandfather, his brother, one uncle, several cousins, older sister, and myself all went to State. State was the only school I applied to. I also never missed a home football or basketball game while at State and traveled as far as Columbus and Tallahassee to watch away football games.

So there's my heartfelt story. *tear drop*

My dad and I used to watch wolfpack games when I was little. I have pictures of me after I was born, maybe two months old, wearing an NC State bib and shirt. I was given the choice of what to wear when I was little and I always chose red or NC State stuff. I've been an NC State fan longer than you have, so I am in that 1%....

I'll one-up your devotion with my experience of being in the NC State marching band and pepband. I went to every game I could go to even after I left the bands, and I've been to every bowlgame except one in the last 7 years.

Some dude was sitting in the SWPC section with a red shirt on and a blue UNC hat 2 years ago. I guarantee he felt like shit until they won. He got more hell than I'd ever imagined before that time.

Some dude in the section next to us had his little brother sitting down low with him...kid was like 10 maybe....maybe 12 at the oldest. Even the little kid went up to him and talked shit. I forget what the kid said but everyone within earshot was howling when he walked away. The UNC douche just stood there like a fag.

No one is giving you a hard time about brining a UNC fan or student/alumnus (they are different things 98% of the time) to the game, it's the fact that an NC State student who pays the same fees as you is getting denied in the favor of a UNC fan/student. We all have at least one UNC friend, that's not what everyone is pointing out.
