I would say any seed lower than 10 is a Cinderella, mostly your mid-majors and smaller schools that don't have any hype coming into the tournament. You remember the story follows a young girl who had no hope for going into the ball until her fairy God-mother helped her out. For power conferences, these would be bottom dweller teams that somehow pulled the major upset and won the conference tourney to get themselves. For instance Wake would have been a Cinderella had they won the ACC tourney this year.
