yes, coach k has had losing streaks and so has roy. but their teams wanted to play, played like they wanted to win, and actually competed. our team has done none of those.

Gee, I can't imagine why a Duke website would be so supportive of the status quo at NC State. Herb hasn't won anything. Getting to the NCAA Tourney is no big feat. 34 at large teams do that very same thing every year. And we're always on the bubble. Even this year, in Herb's best season, we're a fucking 10th seed, seeded lower than mighty UNCW or Bucknell.

We're not a Missouri Valley Conference school. We are a school that has 2 national championships and 10 ACC titles. It's about time we began to act like it.

Now if Roy Williams was coaching them, then I wouldn't put an asterisk beside of those victories. The two Doherty teams we beat were pretty pathetic. That's like claiming a victory over mighty Duke in Krzooski's back injury year (1994?)..... which I believe is the last time NC State won in Cameron, btw.

^^^^ this is still far from his best overall team. We overachieved for much of the season. Did you really think we could sustain 50%+ from the arc for the entire season? Last year's team was far better, and would have had a much better regular season if not for bethel getting ass aids and bennerman hurting his elbow.

^^Like i said, we lost Tony for most of the season, Bennerman was out for a large part of the ACC regular season, and Most of the team had the flu for a couple of games as well.

We didn't have everyone healthy at the same time until the ACC tourney.
