Except for in training camp last year when he broke the cardinal rule of professional sports by calling out a teammate over his contract.
Javon Walker had to play for $400,000 last year. Some people on this website have parents that make that fucking much. Of course he tears his ACL and cost himself MILLIONS of dollars thanks to Brett being a faggot.
Let's see Brett Favre play for $400,000. He's practically been stealing checks from Green Bay for the past five years.4/8/2006 5:47:56 PM |

you're blaming brett favre for walker's injury?
that's hilarious
javon walker wouldn't be shit if he didn't have favre
walker holding out is more worthy of a thread like this than favre's situation

^^ What the hell are you talking about?
Those links show two things.
1) That Favre is overpaid.
2) That Favre is overrated.
I'm curious as to how those links make ME look like the ignorant one.
Javon Walker is worth WAY more than $400K a year. That's what like a third round pick signs for practically. 4/10/2006 6:02:14 PM |

Javon Walker has had one breakout season. Generally you don't get your payday until you prove you're consistantly good.
Oh, and not being represented by Rosenhaus during the middle of the whole TO issue probably would have helped him out a whole bunch too.
But I'm sure he'll have plenty of time to think about all this when he's retired. 4/10/2006 7:21:36 PM |

Top 10 definitely. Top 3... I'm not too sure about that. Saying he's top 3 means he has to be better than at least 1 of Montana, Marino, and Elway and that's not even talking about the all star qb's from back in the day.
Top 10 definitely though.4/10/2006 7:33:10 PM |

Yeah I have a hard time putting Favre ahead of any of those 3.
He's reminding me of Marino at the end of his career, though. That was an ugly sight that I hoped I would never see again. 4/10/2006 7:36:40 PM |

rally, i thought you were the all-knowing god of sports? you mean to tell me that calling out a teammate for a holdout DURING TRAINING CAMP means that you can't be undecided about your playing status in April? the two situations are not even remotely similar. I don't care what you think Walker should make, he was hurting the team by holding out. Period.
^And I'd STILL rather have Favre. A QB who isn't sure if he's going to play is still better than a QB who couldn't find a WR with a map.

All your answers. Brett Favre is so unselfish. I almost want to take back all the times I've called him an overrated douchebag. I mean, sure he threw a huge amount of INT's, but he threw them really hard. And that's what makes a hall of fame QB. 4/19/2006 12:21:01 PM |

Dont they have otehr QB's they can go to..Favre has had his time in the sun, if he's indecisive..ok, but the whole team should not have to wait for him to make up his mind. 4/19/2006 12:27:46 PM |

he was holding out because he was under contract to make 400K for gods sake.
That is dogshit.
Of course he's going to hold out.
Javon Walkers contract is not Favre's fucking business. Everyone knows better than to throw a teammate under the bus ESPECIALLY over contract issues.
Hell if anything, Favre should have agreed to re-structure in order to help Javon's situation.
Favre is a douchebag. Essentially, Favre IS Holding out right now because they don't knwo whether he is going to play or not and he's under contract.
Perhaps the Packers would like to know if they need to draft or sign a fucking Quarterback this year???????? 4/20/2006 4:44:01 PM |

Your shittin me right...what the fuck eva...
and right now...I care nothing about Favre...been a waste of QB space for last few years (except for those few memorable games/events here and there)
The more in his career he went the more of an arrogant ass he became. Great QB, but an ass. Would I have taken on my team, hell yeah (minus past 3-5 years arguably). Past time for him to retire...
