cary is more than just a point on a map

there are places in cary that are 20 some minutes away from where i need to be on campus
add traffic and you get

20-30 minutes.

if you didn't receive an email saying you got a permit and you think you should have gotten a permit for this year (ie. you are an upperclassman) then call transportation.

i just got off the phone with them and i DID get a permit, but i never got the email for it.

they also told me they are not quite through assigning permits, so you may still get one.

Whee!!! I did not receive an email, so I called and I have a permit for the Coliseum Deck. That is going to save me so much time.

Anyone want to trade an EM lot pass for a DC or better pass? Same cost, but may be more convenient for someone else.

So if I haven't gotten mine yet, do I need to go ahead and get in touch with them? I had a DC this past year, registered for a renewal pretty early, I should have a DC again...

Why switch? I thought DC and DD are valid in E lots.

I didn't receive an email from transportation. After reading the messages on Wednesday, I went online and paid for my DD permit with no problems.

yeah if you think you should have a permit, just try logging on to pay for your permit using your student id... your code they ask for is just your bday, (yymmdd)
if you got a permit it will let you continue, if not it will tell you you haven't received a permit. (thats pretty much all the guy did when i called to ask if i should have a permit)

I was assigned an F4 for Wolf Village, is that a specific part of the parking lot or can I park in any part of the F zone?

^^ I don't really think it matters. Mine didn't even have a number with the F, I don't think.

How come transportation doesn't use WRAP/unity login information to do these transactions?

Seems weird you have an arbitrary birthday password that is available to a lot of people

because you have to have your id to pick up the permit anyway

Does anyone know if they are still doing the park and ride lot at Kmart on Western this coming fall, and is it free?

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought the point of this thread was to discuss parking and parking permits. I guess not.

That's what the transportation site says about the Westgrove lot. So is that not the same one, or did they just move it five feet?

there's a concrete divider...it's the apartment parking lot, iirc.

You're welcome to discuss stuff, but don't expect TWW to do all the legwork for you.
