i'm thinking niki's (ali larter's) alternate personality could turn her into a villain long-term

the idea that powers are hereditary (which jives with the evolution concept) is a really interesting one too, i'm going to love watching where the situation with the brothers petrelli goes, whether or not they end up using their powers for a common end or not, and whether micah is 'special' or not

suresh seemed like a charles xavier kind of character to me, i see him as possibly the binding force between them, maybe he has some power himself

I only have watched the first episode but I think it is fairly obvious that one of the brothers(probably the politician) is gonna somehow end up as a villain.

For example, when he went to the future and found the dude with the head chopped off...

we also saw the cop in the house with the guy frozen and his head chopped off as well. was that the future or the present?

I was not feeing too good last night and kept fallin in and out of asleep but tried to keep up...woke up in the last 10-15 minutes and was like WTF??? Did they skip to end of season all ready. I am glad the show picked up and added some heat to show...

Way to many Commercials this week though...I know someone already mentioned it, but damn...I wake up and commercial, fall asleep and wake up commercial.

So Professor's son has no powers to say of right now? He going to be a master mind behind them all linking them all together?

I also think the politician may end up being a Neutral Villian, doing what is best for him but not allowing to great of harm to society.

Hiro (named for Hiroshima) bends time and space and leaves Japan on October 2nd and arrives in New York on November 8th.

On November 9th he stumbles into the murder scene of Isaac Mendez. Nathan Patrelli wins in landslide.

What you guys have missed is that there are about 8 different paintings of an S symbol, with one line coming out of the top and two out of the bottom in Isaac's apartment as Hiro is walking through. I assume this is Sylar. In episode one Mohinder finds an audio tape marked 'Sylar' in his father's apartment in New York. The same S symbol from the paintings in Isaac's apartment can be seen repeating in the code that Mohinder and his neighbor discover on the flash drive in the lizard's aquarium in episode two, along with the recording of the conversation between Mohinder's father and Sylar.

Can't wait for Monday.

I believe Sylar is Chandra Suresh's (Mohinder's father) patient zero.

I don't think it's Claire's dad, because it sounds like Chandra helped Sylar to understand his powers.

And his powers look wicked if he stuck that woman to the wall with kitchen knives and froze that other dude.

I hope Hiro can save Isaac.

Mohinder mentions that his father was tracking patient zero to New York, and his father had contact with Sylar according the recording on Mohinder's father's answering machine.

Mohinder's father is referred to as Chandra on his answering machine when someone from the cab company calls about his time card.
