Woo for my old high school, Ragsdale Flying Tigers. I hope Baker does well this year.

^Oh yes more shit talking towards Jay....

Do you remember the Wake game?

Marcus came in and threw a pick 6 that cost us any chance of coming back.

Then they put Jay back in when it was too late.

I remember it; I was there. And I was pissed when Jay came back in for the 4th, because I knew that was the end.

Stone was the only reason we were even close.

Do YOU remember that game? Stone had two TD passes, Jay had zero.

On top of that, we were only down 8, with possession of the ball and a full quarter to play. That's plenty of time to put together a drive and at least tie.

"Amato is not sure he'll have the luxury of redshirting his latest recruiting prize -- Justin Burke (6-2, 195), the Gatorade Player of the Year in Kentucky after throwing for 3,789 yards and 62 touchdowns as a senior at Lexington Catholic High.

Remember, he did throw Rivers into the lineup as a freshman.

"We are going to find out what Justin Burke can do," Amato said. "That is why we signed him."

Not sure why Chuck isn't going to R/S Burke. Theres no way he would start an unknown Freshman QB, esp. with his job on the line this year.

and why wouldn't he? if he comes in and is better mentally and on par physically with stone . . . I would sure as hell start him.

^^Rivers was recruited by us as a QB but everyone else recruited him as a TE.

Yes I do. I was THERE.

Jay's 2 picks were not his fault. One Lamart Barrett fucked it up by running the wrong route.

The other I believe was a jump ball thrown deep on 3rd down.

Neither one resulted in a TD like BOTH of Stones.

"Both"?

Dude, Stone threw ONE interception.

Feel free to go look at the stats: http://wakeforestsports.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/stats/2005-2006/wf102205.html#GAME.IND

And yes, Jay's first pick was taken in for a TD, giving Wake a 13-0 lead at that point.

BUT he was also the only reason we were still in the game.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't, but everyone I know who was there with me went when Davis went back in.

Who cares, it's over.
