This is bullshit if its true. Kruk is 50 times worse and if HR got fired for something off the air....it better be something horrible because he's one hell of an analyst. 7/25/2006 1:35:47 PM |

on the local sports talk show here they said something about not agreeing to come on and glorify a-rod like the rest of them or something. I was on my way out to lunch but they said that and then said they'd discuss it later so either that was a joke and they'll get into the real reason later or something is up 7/25/2006 2:01:11 PM |

You guys are ignoring the most obvious reason for all of this. Harold Reynolds is making a comeback!! He's going to move over to 3rd base, and will soon be starting for the New York Yankees. I hear they might be in the market for a third-baseman. 7/25/2006 2:23:02 PM |

they just said on a different radio station that it was due to the on air arguement that began the other night on BBTN between he, steve phillips, and Kruk over the trading of A-rod issue. One of the guest-hosts on the show said he had heard word from another source that off screen sexual harassment may be tangled in the mix 7/25/2006 3:42:17 PM |

Kurkjian, Olney, Gammons are the best. Hershiser is right behind and Orestes Destrade surprisingly isn't too bad.
Steve Phillips, Kruk, and oh god fucking Brantley are horrible.
HR was NOT an astute analyst. He was a personable guy who smiled a lot and was likeable, but when I actually listened to what he said I can't say I was impressed. 7/25/2006 3:57:11 PM |

Harold Reynolds had sex with Bonnie Bernstein and then didn't call her. Their relationship has been poor because HR claims that he never had sex with her in the first place. 7/25/2006 6:29:23 PM |

This is the update on the deadspin article posted above, ealier.
Quote : | "(UPDATE: Another reader, with "contacts on the inside," refutes the sexual harassment whispers: "Anyone who is saying sexual harassment either has been given bad third-hand info or is lying. Harold has had a couple of rather heated arguments with the producers at "Baseball Tonight," and some of the suits at ESPN over the program's coverage of Alex Rodriguez. At the last production meeting, when it was made clear they were going to really play up the A-Rod angle during coverage of the Yankees-Texas series, Harold had a colossal meltdown, which led to his dismissal. The sexual harassment allegations are even more laughable when you consider that he is being replaced by Steve Phillips -- a man who has never met a skirt he wouldn't chase and who was caught in one of the more embarrassing front office sexual harassment scandals in MLB history."
True? Not true? This, like the rest of it, just reinforces our point: We don't know. And the longer ESPN pretends like nothing happened, like they're a corner shop with three employees, believing this stuff can possibly remain private, the more talk there will be. Still, this is the lone "it's not sexual harassment email" we've received.)" |

Somebody had to take the babysitter home. Then I noticed she was sitting on her... sweet can. So I grab her... sweet can. Oh, just thinking about her... can. I just wish I had her... sweet sweet s-s-sweet can." |
and for what it's worth, Kruk was the only one right about A-Rod. Yankees would be stupid to trade him.7/25/2006 10:16:47 PM |
