which continent or region of the earth hasn't had wars or skirmishes over the last 'couple of thousands of years'?

could it be Western Europe? nah, they haven't fought since like WWII, and it's peaceful now. What about East Asia? Same deal, there hasn't really been anything all that big since the Mongols or some shit. South America? Full of beaners, who cares. Northern Africa? Buncha niggers who live in huts. yes, the middle east has had its share of violence, but to suggest that it has been a non-stop war for 'thousands of years' is a grossly inacurrate generalization. the truth is that the middle east has been far more peaceful than europe over the last thousand years, but i guess it would be easier to just kill all the jews and arabs so we wouldn't have to hear about it anymore. right?

US has been around for 200 years and has had quite a few conflicts as well. in fact there is a MUCH greater frequency in US wars as compared to the middle east timeline you provided (except for the conflicts in the last 50-60 years which you said wasn't your arguing point).
