sounds like he really did go through them

IUD's still have a little bit of a bad rap too... most of the problems were associated with the copper coil IUD, which is still offered & lasts 10 years as opposed to 5, but can cause more bleeding (Mirena causes less, after several months) among many other things." |
It's hard to dispel a bad reputation if no one knows about the newer, better options And yes, they're an insanely cheap method of BC. Maybe this will be an option to keep you from getting snipped 8/1/2006 1:52:13 PM |

just dont. Take my advice, and if you love the kid, just neveer ever tell them this. The love child thing is actually not too bad, but NEVER tell the kid that they weren't planned, weren't expected as soon as they were, whatever." |
i don't see the big deal.
i know I was an "accident", and it makes absolutely no difference to me.9/4/2006 2:21:55 AM |

my brother-in-law had it done, it wasnt that bad for him, it is out patient procedure, if the woman gets her tubes tied, it is more complicated, and my sister said since the procedure for males is way less, than her husband was getting it done...and he didnt mind, had a boy and a girl and he didnt want any more kids. I think he was uncomfortable for a couple days but that went away pretty fast, if you want to talk about money, you get it done, it was much cheaper....

Well, if you're sure you only want one kid...I'm pretty sure my dad and most of his friends had it done back in the day. The guy I babysit for just had it done too, I watched the kids while he was at the appointment. Badda bing, badda boom. 9/4/2006 7:47:06 PM |

Don't do something irreversible or practically irreversible. You never know how you might feel later on.
Congratulations on the new baby!

This will be #2, not the first. Hence why I'd be satisfied with cutting it off after that.9/4/2006 9:18:41 PM |

I've heard of men getting this done and then afterwards they were not able to get an erection.
Maybe this isnt an issue anymore with Viagra. 9/5/2006 11:03:48 AM |
