In my experience, blacks and Jews generally get along pretty well.

I think it's because we're stereotypically everything the black community wants to be. As far as minority groups go, we're top of the food chain.

I hardly know where to begin with your posts, BridgetSPK. I'll give it that old college try, though.

Please don't make this about respect: "You don't respect me. You've made that clear" (BridgetSPK). I can see the new slogan now: The Wolf Web, Where People Come for Respect. I don't know you; I can't say whether I respect you or not. All I have to go by are you TWW posts, which famously miss the point more often than not.

I understand what you're saying about the Gibson-Jackson and Gibson-Byrd comparisons. I get it, okay? THAT'S NOT THE FUCKING POINT! Once again, here's the main point: If one is a left-wing celebrity, the US mainstream media lets racially charged shit slide and/or it goes away fast; if one is a right-wing celebrity, the US mainstream media highlights racially charged shit and it lingers. Get it?

The fact that you don't get the point about Jackson's illegitimate child is revealing. The guy is supposedly a "Reverend" and he is supposedly married. In addition, Jackson supposedly gave "spiritual counseling" to then-President Clinton--but I don't think it took. Don't you think a man who has placed himself in a position like Jackson's should be held to a higher standard?

In any event, the point about Jackson is this: The MSM doesn't ask Jackson probing questions about the major moral wrong in question that he committed. They don't even ask him where he gets his funding--I mean, what is his job title(s), anyway? No, the MSM ridiculously run to him every time they need the supposed African-American take on a given issue--and it's all bullshit.

By the way, you should have typed "news hound" (sic) as one word in your last post, and said word means: "an aggressive or energetic journalist." Unfortunately, not only is the correct spelling of "newshound" hard to find, but those who fit the definition of the word are damn hard to find, too.

PS, BridgetSPK: We immediately hear from the MSM anytime Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson say some wacky thing--as they continually do. Have you heard anything really strange reported by the MSM that Louis Farrakhan said? He’s a major religious leader, mind you. I'll give you a hint: It's WAAAAAAY out there!

Why don't you address my points, Ergo? It's easy to call somebody names and then run off into the darkness to "jerk off," I believe you said. I bet you do A LOT of that, don't you? Oh, yeah, jackin' it to Chicken Noodle News! No, wait, it's the Communist News Network--oh, yes, that'll give you a real good nut, won't it?

The other TWW-ers didn't address my points because they can't--and neither can you. Show me ONE time on any of the Big Three that a so-called progressive thinker (oxymoron) or writer or commentator or talk show host has been introduced or referred to with the word "liberal" preceding his or her title and name. Yet, it happens EVERY time a conservative is mentioned in any context.

And I simply can't BELIEVE you are going to post that conservatives cry about shit--they just tell the fucking truth about the mainstream media. Fuckin' liberals are the ones who went whinin' to the Supreme Court in 2000--AFTER Al Gore had conceded the election! And in 2004, a headline in a large newspaper read (I'm paraphrasing): How can 60 million people be so dumb? And lefties everywhere were calling the red states "Dumbfuckistan." Way to win over voters, you whiny fuckheads.

Oh, yeah, and Lieberman is leading Lamont in the polls. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, you dipshits!

Andrew Young was forced to resign for the comments he made.

Quote :
" Though he doesn't like to use it, the senator's full name is George F. Allen. He gets the middle initial from his grandfather, Felix Lumbrosso, a French-Italian who was incarcerated by the Nazis during World War II. Felix raised Allen's mother, Etty, in Tunisia, a French protectorate [sic] in North Africa. As a child, Allen's grandparents lived near the family home, and Etty spoke five languages around the house. Allen makes no secret of his heritage on the campaign trail. "I have my grandfather's bloodlines," he said at a recent swing through a suburb of Richmond. "My grandfather is French-Italian. I have about one-sixteenth Spanish in me."

In North Africa, the word "macaca," often spelled "macaco" or "macaque," is far more than a string of random syllables. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word dates back to the mid-1600s, as a Flemish approximation of the Bantu word for monkey in the Congo and southern Gabon. The word migrated north, taking on all the racist connotations that followed African colonization. By the early 1800s, Jacko Maccacco, a famous fighting monkey, could be found on display in Westminster Pit, a notorious London arena for dog fights. The word had entered the common vernacular, and it eventually became a racist shorthand for blacks."

I suggest Allen should resign in the same way.

LOL, I thought I made that word up. Musta slipped into my head unconsciously...

I don't give a shit about your point. But you gotta understand...I'm kinda lame when it comes to this Soap Box stuff so I jump at the chance to tell someone they're wrong. And your drawing conclusions about the MSM based on comparisons between Gibson/Jackson/Byrd was WRONG. As far as your "point" goes, I'm sure there's been a study or something...

What points? All of the sudden you have "points"?

AHA, so now you're pretending to be naive.

Jackson is the one who runs to them. And people hate/love him so much that the MSM use him...

You took one line of my post and twisted it to make it sound like I was trying to make this about respect, and you also neglected to repsond to the whole point of that bit...

Quote :
"BridgetSPK: You don't respect me. You've made that clear. You've also stated that you have all the evidence that you need. Why are you arguing with me if you think I'm deluded and you're already comfortable with your position as fact?"

I don't even know how to spell and use the word newshound correctly...why are you still talking to me?

You are so blatantly trying to put liberals down just so you can feel better about the poor job that conservatives have done.

"Maybe if I bitch about a supposed liberal bias in the media, I won't have to think about how much conservatives fucked things up when they dominated the federal government..."

SourPatchin/BridgetSPK your writing doesn't sound like you. Have you been replaced by the body snatchers? Either way, your posts are as laughable as ever! The pods didn't kill the crazy!

Don't worry, though, I'll reply to all of your preposterous posts soon.

I'm focusing on my studies, which is something I suggest we all do, and I don't have as much time to devote to ridiculous arguments on the Web. One wonders why I would devote ANY time to such an endeavor. Oh, well.

Clearly, though, you are still full of shit. So, with that fact firmly established, I will bid you good evening.

Funny.

But ultimately destructive.

I'll be happy when the Red State / Blue State phenomenon is called out for the bullshit it is.

^ Don't blame me for Dumbfuckistan. I didn't come up with it.

The "word" is from a Robert Smigel animated feature called "Blue Christmas" on _Saturday Night Live_. It kind of ragged on liberals Al Franken, Margaret Cho, and Moby. I loved that!
