I think a list like this means more if you can narrow it down to just a handful of songs. So on that note here are some songs that truly mean something to me.

Smashing Pumpkins - Today
The Toadies - Tyler
The Pixies - Monkey's gone to Heaven

There are probably 100 other songs I could list that are my "favorites", but those are the few that I really really love.

Seeing Annuals play "Brother" last night was one of the best songs I've ever heard in a live situation. The best live song I've ever heard is "Wake Up", by The Arcade Fire.

I dunno if it's one of my favorites of all time, but Tilly and the Wall's "Sing Songs Along" is definitely in the THAT'S MY JAAAAAM category for the time being.
