hey our defense looks like a decent unit...

our offense looks horrible except a manchild HB and some playmakers at WR who we can't utilize.



Last year we barely scraped by weak teams with a superb defense.

This year the ACC is notably stronger.

What on earth makes you think we're going to be able to win ACC games this year with a weaker defense and unimproved offense?

Sais who? If anything the level of competitiveness has lowered in the ACC. There arn't but a handful of dominate players in the entire conference. This has to be the lowest that ive ever witnessed.

Our D is a tad bit weaker. But so are other team offenses. It weighs out, honestly. The reason why I give us the upper hand, is because we are able to run the ball effectively. Most teams cant in the ACC.

We couldn't run up the middle against App State. We had to run around them. We won't be able to run around ACC teams, especially when they have 8 in the box.

Our defense bends but does not break this year instead of overpersuing. We had a bunch of goal line stands agaisnt app state and linebackers picked off passes in the endzone. Something I havent seen our defense do in a long time.

Did you see the Miami-FSU game last night?

FSU is going to BURY us.

GT, Clemson, BC, and UVA are all likely better than they were last year.

I dont know about Maryland.

UNC is a tossup. They have a better offense, but their defense looks horrible...

We're better than Wake but they'll probably beat us because we haven't fared well against them lately.

We'll beat ECU and probably split with Akron/So. Miss. If things go well we'll win all the non conference games

I loved andre brown's 125 yards, I loved the few penalties, darrell blackman improved his punt returning somewhat, i loved the D-Line, but none of that means jack until i see them do it against a real opponent

I witnessed the FSU game last night. Their D looked tenacious, but there offense was one dimensional relying on the pass (with, let me remind you not that good of a QB). We can beat them, same as we did last year. Weak argument RDU. Now, GT and Clemson Im not sure of yet.

Weatherford is light years ahead of Stone right now.

Miami's secondary played better coverage last night than ive seen from numerous pro defenses.

If Wright couldnt get time to throw behind Miami's Oline... and couldnt get the ball to his sick WR's...

wait a minute rally. miamis oline is known to be questionable and who cares what they couldnt do through the air. we know we have a weak passing game anyway. we have brown. fsu doesnt have a real hb. miamis main wr was out anyway. app state held us to 40 yards passsing so playing against a good secondary wont shock us. stone cant pass for shit but he doesnt turn it over like jay davis.

you're right you did see a different game.

FSU's pass rush was absolutely ferocious.

THeir receivers were shadowed the entire game but Weatherford remained poised and only threw one INT.

Their receivers were big and went up and made plays.

Their running game was non existent against Miami's big front, but it will be a little better against ours.

They killed Miami on little screen passes at the end.

FSU isn't going to need an offense against us because they will DOMINATE field position and start with the ball at the 50 on ~50% of their possessions.

They probably won't be able to score 44 points or anything but it should be like a 30-7 rout.
