Name? Umm, I like the idea of using names of pharoahs not just the word pharoah ... you could also go with another famous name - maybe Napoleon? Dynamite, Bonaparte, pick one; or yeah names of gods works. It's kinda pretentious though. I had a neighbor that had some pint-size terrier named Alexander the Great ... it was quite rediculous.

Boss might work. If you want to go redneck, Hoss (if he's going to be a big dog).

i have a black lab/pitt(or some bully breed) mix who's name is Bo.
he's the biggest sweetie ever. not too bright but so loving. we think he was a bait dog in a pitt fighting ring before i rescued him. poor boy. i can't imagine what his life mus have been like.
