i agree that a passback was a big issue - now all you have to do is print out a few copies - which is a horrible system also

I'm not in disagreement that the system we were using was riddled with problems...but in reality there's no one that can guarantee any system fixing all problems...

this is all based off of matrices of which priorities do you have, which problems have to be solved, which requests will you honor...
and since this is what every other school uses, when all of those schools have the same demand/supply ratios we have, we have to trust it enough to try it...

I remember the VT game, but we know why that failed, and it wasn't the design of the system...it was the scanners, lines, etc...that we don't expect ot be the problem here

Basically, the only arugment now is that block seating will get screwed up when they run out of seats in a particluar section, and tailgating will get cut down for people who also want good seats.


I actually think the section 14 and 15 seats are better than the endzone, so it really doesnt matter too much.

I think that is a great idea . . . but I think it would create a lot of additional confusion, epecially with this being the first game like this. The chained off lines would have to be rearranged and there would have to be big signs showing the different sections. Not like that tiny sign they used last year to show where the student gate was out at 12. Most people didn't even know that was there.

if you say so. I have been front row quite a few times and after 45 minutes there are suddenly like 10 additional people trying to cram into the row. The event staff stading in the isle saw how it was before (when there was 1 person for 1 seat), and they see the additional people come, and you tell them and they say "I can't do anything about it"

This is stupid, i just want to sit in any section but 7 and 8 with my friends, who never arrive all together at the stadium an hour before, but we always end up in our section together. figure out a way to fix section 7 and 8. Why don't we print assigned seats for those sections, and people can camp out for them, or wait in line, or whatever. leave the rest of the stadium alone.
