I usually don't go for sappy shit and the only reason I started watching this show was for some hot teenager sex ala Varsity Blues, but it kinda keeps my interest somehow.

Despite knowing it's the cheesiest shit I've ever seen, I still like it.

How is this so?

I guess it proves that even though she thinks she was on the way out of town with this guy or some shit, that its not that easy to just get the hell out of.

And that was the chick that was Riggins girlfriend, but then she broke up with him and got caught banging Smash when his momma came home.

But truthfully, I still have not really figured what the point is in her whole damn character, not just this little oil man substory. Great, she's the town whore. Big deal, I'd rather watch Lyla get naked or maybe see Julie get deflowered by Saracen.

I gave the show another try tonight. The one thing that constantly annoys me is the lack of lighting in the settings. I think the documentary feel to the camera work is nice, but if you're going for that type of mood how come there is always an unrealistic amount of lighting in a lot of the scenes. The coach's office, the hospital room, the locker room, the school gymnasium during pep rally, the school hallways. I went to school for ten years in Round Rock, TX. Schools just aren't lit that way. Yeah, I know, it's for dramatic effect, because few things on set can destroy beauty more so than harsh fluorescent lighting. But still. It just bugs me.

I love that the networks have come around and you can catch the shows online now. That is such a great development. I HATED having to miss a show having practically no way to catch up on it, unless you had TiVO. Now I can watch that shit at work.

Good episode. i kind of expected the ending with Voodoo however. But its an added hurdle coach Taylor has to jump through. Felt real bad about Street at the end. Damn Lyla

All in all a good episode. I love this show
