Most "consumer" cameras that offer over 6MP don't seem to add anything with those extra pixels. I mean, they throw on more pixels without improving the sensor... so you could get just about the same quality print with varying pixel amounts. I would prefer color accuracy over pixels.
If you are just a point-and-click kind of guy and want something for indoor shots, I'm afraid most pocket cameras give crappy low light response. I ended up going with the Fujifilm FinePix F30 because it is the only camera I've seen that gets 3200ISO at that size and price.
If you're willing to go semi-pro, the established favorite is the Canon Digital Rebel... although Nikon makes some good competition. I haven't checked out Sony's new dSLR line, but it might be worth checking out. 11/19/2006 11:46:22 PM |

I'd go Canon all the way. If the specs are similar and you like the form factor of the Canon I'd go for that. I have never been impressed with the image quality of any Casio. Too much noise. 11/21/2006 2:21:02 AM |
