This will continue. There is a kid in NC that received a letter from NC State recently in interest for him to play on the o-line. He's a huge kid, with a lot of muscle strength--benches a ridiculous number--has all the makings on paper to be hell on the O-line. However, he sits on the bench as #2 behind my cousin who is about half his size.

And btw....is it considered "setting my expectations high" when I went to the GT game expecting to get blown out by a much better team? No. Thats not the problem. As I've said all along, its never about losing. I can take losing. But when you play a game that well on defense and special teams, and you have a few players drop some huge passes and have a coaching staff that wont put the fucking ball in the hands of thier best players, then I have a problem...and thats when I leave the game thinking WHAT THE FUCK.


Its not about losing...its about losing the games you have put yourself in a position to win....or its about losing because of a lack of effort...lack of concentration....lack of discipline. With NC State its hardly about lack of skill....which is what bothers me so much.

Chuck has done what he was supposed to do....put the program on the map while we built facilities, recruited better talent, etc...

Chuck was used to lay the groundwork for us to be able to geta great coach after him. A coach that will take us further.

^^Going to the NCAA's every year with a chance to win it every few years is not an unrealistic expectation. In the ACC, you finish in the top half of the conference, you're going to the tournament. If you're competing for the conference championship every few years, you would theoretically have a chance to win the NCAA tournament every couple of years. That doesnt mean making the championship game...that means making it to the second week with a chance to advance past that....rather than going 2-out every year because you limped in and sucked at the end of the season.


HAVING A CHANCE every couple of years isnt unrealistic....because that would mean winning 1 acc championship every 10-15 years...I dont think thats an unrealistic expectation for NC State....and having a shot at the national title twice in 10 years. I'm thinking along the lines that if we're competitive....and we make the tournament....its a 6 game season.


we're arguing semantics here....basically i'm just sick of seeing us tank in the NCAA and ACC tournament (once again...in games we should win....like blowing leads to duke and md)

If he can take that attitude and work to make himself and his teammates better in the off season, then I'll be impressed. Our offense lacks identity, leadership, and drive. Hopefully Brown will be on a tear to get better and become that leader we need this spring.
