today the orders came down from the top of the republican party to the republican members of congress: be gracious in defeat, get on tv and apologize to the american people for getting off track as a party, and tell them that you got the message sent by the election results. circle the wagons and start getting ready for 2008. sounds like allen will fall in line with this strategy and concede after the canvas is done.
