I always thought the Panthers should have been called the Charlotte Cougars. That has a better ring to it, plus a Panther and a Cougar are basically the same thing. 12/2/2006 1:39:52 AM |

^ i dunno, Brees has been a little shaky lately and their defense is nothing special
I could see any of the three teams left winning the NFC
(i dont count Seattle as a team)

^WHAT??? Let's see...
06 - Pittsburg (D), Seattle (Balanced) 05 - NE (D), Philly (Balanced) 04 - NE (D), Carolina (D) 03 - Oakland (O), TB (D) 02 - NE (D), St.L (O)
2 Offensive teams, 2 Balanced teams, & 6 Defensive teams.
Oh, and how well has that worked out for Indy? 1/13/2007 5:15:33 PM |

^You can tell that list is a bunch of fucking bullshit when you have shit like this:
04 - NE (D), Carolina (D)
"D" must mean offense, since they pretty much traded touch downs in that game.

^^^How does what happened DURING the SB affect actually GETTING TO the SB?
Dumbass...
^^Baltimore does not have the best D in the league, although they are very good defensive team. And Indy's offense hardly won them the game. It's more like McNair LOST the Ravens the game.
Face it, you have no idea what you're talking about & I called you out on it. Are you another Earl/Aristole/hcgay alter ego? 1/13/2007 8:22:14 PM |

Not many teams can hold the colts to 15.

Well personally I think Chicago's is better. That's why I said that. But still, Baltimore's D was solid today, just that McNair stunk. 1/13/2007 8:51:49 PM |

Let's review, dumbass.
29-10 vs Cowboys where delhomme and stephen davis go wild 29-23 in double overtime 14-3 win over the eagles 32-29 to patriots in a shootout.
That's 1 out of 4 games where the defense won the game.
Quote : | "Well personally I think Chicago's is better." |
hahah, fucking chicago has the best D? Did you only watch the first 5 weeks of the season? Try looking at last 4 weeks when a bunch of shitty teams put up a lot of points on their defense. Nevermind that baltimore was #1 in defensive stats and in analysts' picks and that chicago had a cake schedule.
The point remains that baltimore lost because their offense sucked balls and the colts had just enough to win. No TDs and 2 picks, and it still amounted to an L. OMFG DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS -- despite empirical evidence, the games on tv right now, and the history that you are trying to rewrite.1/13/2007 9:36:38 PM |

The bears d and the ravens d are just alike. They both have great turnover margins and are capable of scoring TDs'. I fail to see what you two are bickering about. 1/13/2007 11:08:15 PM |

Oh, so the last FIVE champions didn't have great defenses. I see..
You can't refute that. You can't explain why Indy hasn't won the SB yet either if Offense wins championships.
Defense DOES win championships dumbass. End of story. The two games today don't change that.1/13/2007 11:29:13 PM |

Indy hasn't won a SB because of Manning. His team has been playing fantastic, he just chokes during the playoff scene. 1/13/2007 11:31:55 PM |
