Well, ncsuchris07, I imagine you've learned by now that TWW is no place to take your serious life's troubles. Open yourself up and they'll attack it like the little flea-infested hyenas that they are. I'm going through the exact same thing you are, only I haven't had the bliss of breaking up just yet. Here's some suggestions for what I plan to do when I am single again, and what you might consider doing for yourself:

-Change my appearance completely (go shopping, get a makeover, grow my hair back out, work out in the gym)
-Change my habits, anything about myself that I've begun in the time I was with my bf
-Start experiencing social life again, start dating, literally throw myself into the social scene
-Get a job, get out of the house
-Mend relations with my parents

Seeing you turn around would be a lot more satisfying than doing it all for myself, because I really don't give a shit how much my bf ruins my life, I love him so much.
