At least make some of these downloadable if you're not going to release it for the 360, cause I'd love to have a lot of these songs. 6/12/2007 6:32:56 PM |

So rumor is that this game was shipped and is in retailer's hands today, but the official street date is next Tuesday. That said, if anyone sees the street date being broken and store selling it today could they post it on here? I can't wait to play this! 7/17/2007 8:02:15 AM |

Okay I am too lazy to see if this would work myself, but the PS2 does have a USB port, right?
Would the 360 guitar work in the PS2? 7/17/2007 9:20:31 AM |

Man I'd really love to have this, but as stated before, not releasing it for the 360 = lost money, myself included. 7/17/2007 9:34:46 AM |

i enjoy that song as a guilty pleasure but as a guitarist i have to say there is not even one riff in that entire song that even comes REMOTELY close to shredding anything. i said the same thing as saps when i saw that on the list.
im not that excited about the song list, but oingo boingo = 7/17/2007 9:35:56 AM |

hmm, 100 million PS2's not enough for them I guess
besides, the 360 owners are stupid enough to pay 2 bucks a song on marketplace anyway7/17/2007 10:39:19 AM |

This whole time I just assumed there would be a last minute announcement that the game would be available as downloadable content for the 360. I can't believe this isn't the case. I wonder how long (or at this point if if at all) it will take for them to make this available to the 360 users. 7/23/2007 2:04:25 PM |

it will slowly become downloadable within 2-3 months
they will probably wait to see sales of the game to see if it's worth it 7/23/2007 3:41:53 PM |

For those that are wondering, they aren't doing the free $15 gift card thing in store, only on the webpage. So to get it you need to go to bestbuy.com, order the game and make sure you put the $15 GC in your cart. Select the in store pickup for the game and have your free GC mailed to you. 7/24/2007 12:38:11 PM |

you can prolly do instore for the card too, thats what i've done with the free points card with xbox...then returned the game. might do this with the GH deal 7/24/2007 12:45:15 PM |

nah, it said instore delivery wasn't available for the card. I tried.
cause I needed to buy a guitar for the PS2 since I didn't already have one. Damn me and my inability to wait for the 360 version. The only reason I even bought a PS2 in the first place was because I couldn't wait for the Xbox version of San Andreas. 7/24/2007 1:01:47 PM |

"Play With Me" is kinda hard.
I beat all the other songs on Hard the first time through though. This game is like GH2 lite when it comes to difficulty. 7/25/2007 12:13:24 AM |

^yes it is...failed out at 90% complete on first try, 95% on second...passed on third attempt, but only 71% of notes hit...but it is a badder asser song
i will never beat that song on expert...may as well be "Jordan" for all I'm concerned 7/25/2007 12:15:49 AM |

I guess since GH:80s retails for $50 I made the small leap that you were talking about the guitar, which was much closer in price to that which you mentioned. Maybe you meant $40 with a $15 best buy gift card, but that's not exactly the same as cash unless you shop there a lot, which I don't. 7/25/2007 10:50:33 AM |

Got it last night. I'm doing the same thing I did for Guitar Hero I and II: I start at medium and play it through.
I can't stomach easy. It's just so boring. Medium is boring me a hell of a lot right now, but oh well. Gotta unlock the stuff that's available. 7/25/2007 12:13:55 PM |
