I think it's been obvious to most of us for a while that the man was unstable, so even though the exact nature of how he fucked up (and I mean, what the fuck is up with that?) might surprise us, the fact that he did shouldn't.

And yeah, the "men's rights" stuff was always hillarious. I wonder how a woman screwed him over in the past to make him think that needed doing.

I know most of you are just piling on and it's easy to do when you don't know the whole story, but why does being anti feminist make you a closet homosexual?

Well, he's had his chance to offer another side of the story and declined, and I don't know what the hell else to take from that besides "that is the story."

But no, being anti-feminist does not make you any gayer than being pro-feminist does.

Fair enough, but I will say this, if the Cobbham group down in Athens tried to pull the same shit with regards to noise ordinances and anti-student policies here in Raleigh this board would be in a justifiable uproar.

Uproar? Certainly. A horribly-conceived conspiracy to lie to the public and the press? Less so.

'Course, from the article all I gathered was that good ol' Chuck was raving about anti-fraternity policies, of which I have been a consistent and vociferous supporter, so this is sweet to me on yet another level.

Because its funny to say so. Being a nutball supporter of mens rights is down right wierd as hell, just like the feminazis.

LOL @ Wolfpack2K, aka Charles A. Jones, esq,

he just (finally!) erased all his biography info and photo Gallery from his TWW profile.

dont worry, tho, chuck. I anticipated that, so I DL'd copies and screenshots of the good stuff.

If you ever need to refer to it in the future, say during a political race, I'll be happy to help you out.

"Recently I was approached about working for positive change in Athens government in another way. I have been given the opportunity to be a crucial part of standing up for the rights of those who have been trampled on by the powerful elite in this town for too long. To pursue this effort, however, I will be required to withdraw from the County Commission Superdistrict 9 seat."

so wait, which is it? are you going to join the military as mentioned in the other thread of are you going to take a job "standing up for the rights of the trampled in Athens?"

concur, but nobody is praising them. they're justifiably turning their disgust towards dishonesty and corruption in politics, particularly since it's coupled with the hypocrisy of being from someone campaigning on the issues of ethics and integrity.

Here is a lesson for everyone

Do not ever create SockPuppets - never, for no reason. Simply do not do it.

Oh yeah except if ... no not even then. NEVER. You will be caught. You will be shamed. DO NOT DO IT!

But it sounds too damn funny when someone proclaims himself as a "bane of feminists young and old" and as a world-famous men's rights activist. It sounds sorta fruity.

yeah, i was actually reading about this being a campaign issue in britain the other day, with the conservatives actually being the only ones not openly stating impartiality in these cases.

I'm sure they already know; it was in the papers when it happened, HALF A YEAR AGO.

Thing is, people down here actually heard my side of the story so they don't view it as a big deal. Not even the Cobbham people view it as a big deal anymore. And I still had a Commission candidate ask me for my endorsement. Overall, I thought this whole incident was more of a positive than a negative to my campaign (and my practice actually - people started to see me as the ball busting lawyer who'll do whatever it takes to win )

the way i figure it, Congress has what, a 25% approval rating, and the President's is in the low 30s...and I've never heard a joke starting with "What do you call 10,000 politicians at the bottom of the ocean?" that doesn't say much good for lawyers.
