i got the voyager prime and the masterpiece prime which is the same as the 20th aniv. prime except with metal pieces

i actually like the voyager prime a lot more than i thought i would

does the voyager prime look okay in alt mode with the vane removed...some people say his head is obvious and others say you can spin it and it's not

his head is pretty obvious in truck mode w/out the vane, but i leave him in robot mode

the vane turns into a cannon and his smokestacks turn into a gun, motherfucker is loaded

and i don't think i got the masterpiece prime from japan, i think i got it from target or maybe ebay

Got Grimlock and Hot Rod today. The Grimlock transformation has way too much spinning for my taste, but it's still cool.

I want to get Classics Megatron, but the wings are still bugging me. Instead of waiting for reissue Soundwave to show up at TRU at a time I'm actually there, I might go to my cousin's house and try to find his G1. He had a Megatron, too, and hopefully a Jazz (aka COOLEST AUTOBOT EVAR).

I was at the Target near Raleigh Grande and someone had bought the Skywarp/Ultra Magnus two-pack, opened it, and returned it with Starscream inside.

Looks cool and I like the 'Cuda, but is it just the boring old Autobot transformation? I was disappointed to see that Classics Hot Rod used that scheme since the other Classics are pretty clever.

sorta same old, it's more like a much simplified Binaltech Grimlock transformation

except the head and ears are on a spring under the engine, so they pop out automatically when you fold the windshield down

what i like about it is how good the the vehicle form looks and how solid it is, plus the action figure is neat

The only things I don't like are that the gray plastic washes out his face details and you have to push the wing back to get the classic Starscream pose with the null ray pointed at someone. Other than that, it rules.

I think that Prime could be okay if you never, EVER put him in vehicle mode. His face is a little weird, though.

I don't like the chest of the Megatron or the lack of a real arm, so I passed.

I finally saw the pictures of Classics Devastator. I could live with him only being five robots if he were more show accurate, but he's not, so now I'm on the lookout for a complete G1 Devastator (loose, I'm playing with it), or at least a knockoff in green/purple.
