Its everything top to bottom. I mean people can live their life however the hell they want to, I don't give even 1/10 shit. I use this place mostly for entertainment at work and will attempt to rattle a poster when I feel their logic or their rationale is a bit flawed (some kids call it trolling) or in some cases when these guys are exhibiting the typical message board monkey behavior then I won't hesitate to talk shit.

for example:
If someone has been on a job for 30 years, taking raises every year, he might be getting paid 2-3 times what a new employee (with a modern degree) is getting, plus he might be getting payments towards a pension or something (which a new employee wouldn't get), and his employee sponsored health care costs are skyrocketing because he's in the prime age group for diabetes, cancer, and heart desiese.

So, they could ditch the old fogie, hire 2 new grads with MS degrees for the same cost or less, spend a 6 months on training and turtorship, and within a year the two of them are 1.5 times as productive as the old guy. Plus their modern engineering educations allow them to quickly pick up new skills, and since they are young and in shape, their health care is cheap. The only long term commitment by the company in these guys is a 3% match on their 401(k)s, a drop in the bucket compared to a lifetime pension of an old guy.

15-20 are the ages biological adulthood is reached

So agism is a problem and the only reason america has so many laws in place is because grade school happens to end when you are 18 but that has nothing to do with how developed the mind is, its just our society.

Basically, full adulthood is reached somewhere between 15-20 depending on the individual.

for one thing, the brain doesnt stop developing until early-mid twenties, perhaps even as late as thirty.

its not uncommon that full capacity for abstract thought isnt reached until mid-to-late twenties.
