The game was pretty boring...I kept waiting for something to happen but it was all pretty anti-climatic after the first quarter. The rain didn't help...I know their options were limited because of that.
I actually did like the Prince half-time show...I mean, he's Prince, what do you expect? He's wierd, deal with it...he still knows how to entertain.
Commercials were sucky...I only laughed at a few, mostly Bud commercials. 2/5/2007 9:42:59 AM |

the slapping one and the k-fed commercials are the only ones that made me lol.
the power ranger garmin commercial was the first commercial ever where i thought to myself "this is awesome, i hope it doesn't end."
every other commercial was garbage. 2/5/2007 9:47:11 AM |

the best part was during the pregame circus, every time one of those dudes flew and in the air and hit the mat these two goofy colts fans in face paint pop up on the screen smiling like clowns 2/5/2007 11:31:08 AM |

there were so many turnovers in this game that I started to find the game play more comical than the commercials. 2/5/2007 11:42:30 AM |

I concur that the Sheryl Crow/Revlon spot was by far the worst.
And I lol'd at: slapping commercial Garmin K-Fed and the careerbuilder "promotion pit" - it was just too true not to laugh at 2/5/2007 12:13:41 PM |

i just want to say that CBS sucks... they have no business have the SB again, give it to fox or espn. cameras sucked, graphics sucks and the announcers suck too. And what does it take to get a cameraman to wipe off the stinking lens, it looked liked someone came up and licked the camera. 2/5/2007 1:19:31 PM |

I can't imagine prince being all that good...but i muted my TV and listened to Liquid Swords during halftime so there's no way I can truly know...although I have a gut feeling that Liquid Swords would be superior to whatever prince can put together 2/5/2007 2:54:26 PM |

re: "the bears should've won".
y'all are taking that out of context, or just aren't understanding what i meant. if it weren't for grossman's poor play, the bears would've probably won the game. he was extremely detrimental to the bear's performance. someone said that it's the bear's defense's fault, but you can't blame a unit that is put right back onto the field because grossman fumbles again. they need to rest. also, it's a huge momentum and moral killer when your qb, who i bet no one on the team has been behind for a good part of the season, keeps fucking up. 2/5/2007 4:24:49 PM |

^ except the Colts were better in every other facet of the game (except the one kick return).
First downs: 24-11 Total Yards: 430-265 Rushing: 191-111 Passing: 239-154
I think the Colts would have easily beat them either way, they just totally outplayed them in every way. If you want to do "what if" and say that the Colts got a "cheap" TD on the INT return against Grossman then you can balance that out by taking away the "cheap" kickoff return, so its a zero net gain. 2/5/2007 4:42:18 PM |

well, DUH!!!! of course the colts are going to have the better stats, especially in the ones you posted, when grossman was throwing interceptions and fumbling.
first downs: ints and fumbles kill drives which take away opportunities to convert 1st downs. total yards: " rushing yards: " passing yards: "
another thing on the 1st downs. the colts were smart, because they took advantage of riveria having his defense play soft. manning dumped off to addai 10 times for 60-something yards. they methodically drove the ball up the field, and converted several 1st downs. during the game, they said the colts held possession for 56 minutes (real-time, of course) at one point. the bears, on the other hand, kept trying to go deep. they tried to mimic the colts' underneath passing late in the game, but they could only muster like 1 yard on those catches to addai's 6+ yards per catch.
