the sedan looks like a damned nissan altima.
that's sad.
the coupe is a larger civic in the rear.
again, sad. 6/28/2007 10:50:29 PM |

I see a lot of 5-series in the sedan.
That's not necessarily a good thing.
Call me crazy, but as accords go, my favorite sedan is the '89 SE-i. Favorite coupe would probably be a 6th gen V6. This one looks diluted compared to the concept, and while it's not ugly, it's very derivative of a large number of things. 6/29/2007 12:41:55 AM |

Most Powerful Factory Civic Ever, at 240 hp:
Japan gets Honda Civic Mugen RR
Quote : | "Come September 13, Japanese enthusiasts will be able to order up the hottest Civic Type R yet. The already-impressive R gets the full once-over from Mugen, and the result is the Honda Civic Mugen RR. Designed to be perhaps the ultimate front-engined/front-wheel-drive performance car, the Mugen RR sheds an additional 10kg (22 lbs) off the standard Civic Type R's weight, coming in at 2733 lbs. In addition to the weight loss, the freer-breathing Mugen RR picks up 15 horsepower over the regular Type R. It's rated at 240 horses at 8,000 rpm and 160 lb-ft at 7,000 rpm.
Complementing the added power and and decreased weight are a new bodykit, upgraded brakes all around, a retuned suspension, new wheels and tires, and logo-emblazoned Recaro sport buckets. Availability is limited to 300 cars, all in the Milan Red finish shown, and the pricing in Japan has been set at ¥4,777,500 ($38,750 USD).
Mugen's official website (http://www.mugen-power.com/street/RR/) has a video of the car lapping Japan's Tsukuba circuit in 1:06:68, which is worth a look if you're interested in seeing it in action." |

The sedan looks almost exactly like a 2007 Chevrolet Epica that's sold in the Middle East, you know, one of those Hyndai/GM cars. Or is it Daewoo/GM? And I think in some countries those cars are Suzuki-badged. I think in the US, right?
OK, searched and found it. As I suspected, it is the Suzuki Verona in the US. Here is the 2006 model: http://www.suzukiauto.com/sr_06/verona/ No 2007 model yet.
So unfortunately, I can't show you what a 2007 Chevrolet Epica looks like, however, if you look at the new Accord, it is almost like that, with the same angles, shapes, and sizes of the body panels and lights.

^ optional yes, but what IS standard is big ass seats for fatties rednecks. and fattie rednecks would also do good to get the optional rubber seat covers to avoid damage from spilling coke and bbq sauce and dropping fries and ribs.

Except for V6 sedan, all come with choice of manual and auto. V6 Coupe with 6 sp manual
Honda has really upped the ante in terms of performance for the Altima, Mazda 6, Galant, and Camry.
Upcoming new Mazda 6 will take the cake in terms of styling (as does the current gen). Look for RX-8 like styling.
Pics below show the V6 sedan and coupe, and V6 coupe interior. Nice interior, but seats need a lot more lateral supports.
