"its too bad that people feel uncomfortable when people ask them about where they go to church.

I think I woulda liked living back when the majority wasnt scared of religion for whatever reason (guilt, apathy, ignorance, ect.)"

Not all religions go to a church or have one that they can go to. I have yet to find a Shinto shrine anywhere that I could get to so it would be inappropriate for someone to ask me about my church. People aren't scared to talk about religion when it is with the understanding that the word "religion" doesn't automatcially assume "Christianity".

there is nothing wrong with meeting your neighbors, and have a nice community. but invasive questioning is relative. who ever here thinks this guy was right about asking this guy what church he goes to, do you go around asking newly met people what chuch they attend, how many kids they have, are they married, where they work, etc? i don't think you do becasue you realize these are not appropriate questions to ask a virtual stranger.

virtual stranger, soon to be neighbor ... I dont know, I think some of those things you mentioned were pretty basic, at least basic enough that if someone asked you, you shouldnt get all weird about it.

well all i have to say is that if someone ask me this question they are not going to be expecting what my answer will be. i will be polite about it. i hope they don't act surprised becasue if they do then i will accuse them of violating a christian fundamental, and that is only god can judge.

Maybe because you don't know what the fuck you are talking about? State Shinto was abolished in 1945. But thanks for playing.

Then it's the neighbor's problem for assuming that everyone is Christian just because they are white and live in the US.
