well just a few years back we were sweeping carolina in basketball and winning more football games than their basketball team won basketball games

ask any state fan, and that's exactly what has happened. after valvano we had some ncaa issues (never actually punished for anything) and dropped off. coach k has duke rolling, espn swoops in, and boom, new generation of carolina walmart fans think carolina duke is the only basketball game worth watching. no one's disputing this, but the whole unc mentality of 'you can only have one "rivalry" and it has to be the official one on espn' is what gets us. it's tobacco road, historically it's a 4-way deal. there's no rule that you can only get pumped to play one team.

I have never once claimed to be a lifelong Pack fan. I went to school at NC State and because of that I support the Pack above everything else (and I donate $$$$ to the Wolfpack Club since I've been fortunate enough to get a pretty good job as a young adult). I don't even dislike UNC but for 2 (or 3) times a year. I don't discriminate, I hate ignorant fans of all teams, which you seem to fit right in with.
