gymnastics meet at reynolds and it is senior night and according to a trainer for the gymnastics team it is highly unlikely it would be moved for a game....BUT that is the possibility that we have to hope for

I don't have satellite, but I do have ESPNU. Also, NCSU will look like a 3rd world country if we can't pull off hosting a basketball game. We have 2 arenas and are going to be bumped by some tool's concert and a gymnastics meet?

to respond to previous comments about bars & satellite:

If you saw the crowd at Playmakers tonight: WOW.
Sammy's and even JAX were wall to wall. We ended up having to drive to whitaker mill and watch it at the Upper Deck (pretty decent since it has been remodeled i must say...!

And yes, regular people dont have satellite TV. ESPNU, ESPN2HD, and NFL Network arent good enough reasons for the masses to switch.

Both fanbases (UNC and NCSU) call the other team's arena the "taxpayer dome" and have a valid reason for it.

RBC center was built by tax money, but generates positive revenue.

Dean Dome was built by UNC alums, but has to be funded by tax money.
