First and foremost, congrats on getting a ticket.
Many of you already know this, but Reynolds Coliseum is very rich in ACC and NCAA history.
This is the Coliseum where Jimmy V stormed the sidelines
This is the Coliseum where our Coach, Sidney Lowe, set an ACC all time record for assist to turnover ratio while leading his team to an eventual upset National Championship. The record still stands today.
This is the Coliseum where David Thompson became one of the greatest college players of all time, and where Tommy Burleson emerged as one of the most dominant big men of his era.
This is the Coliseum where change for a dollar was made on top of a backboard, courtesy of DT.
This is the Coliseum known for is unreal crowd noise and support, Reynolds created a blueprint that the Cameron Crazies and every other imitator followed.
As students and fans, you may never get to see another meaningful game played in Reynolds. For many, it will be their first time. For some, it will be their last.
Make the most of it. Never forget where the Wolfpack of today came from.
CHEER YOUR ASSES OFF!
GO PACK!!!!" |

The final ACC game was FSU (I was there). But I think the last game prior to RBC was against Princeton in the NIT. It was incredibly loud. Princeton's coach commented after the game that he couldn't believe we were leaving that place b/c it was the loudest game he had ever witnessed. I agree with him. We shouldn't have left. 3/15/2007 3:10:32 PM |

How about we just use all the other facilities at the RBC--this way we can still use its INCREDIBLE appeal to recruits.
Then we just play the games in Reynolds.
Anybody have a problem with this? 3/15/2007 3:38:24 PM |

GO PACK
Don't get me wrong, I love Reynolds (I have only been to one game there, sadly ), but the RBC Center is a wonderful arena. It can get loud as hell in there, plus I like students surrounding the court. When there are so many banners you have to walk around the stadium to see them all, that's just amazing.
I would love to have one or two meaningful (big non.con or ACC) games there a year, but the RBC Center is equally impressive. Tradition vs. Technology. And air conditioning helps alot, too

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I JUST PICKED UP SOME TICKETS FROM A GUY ON CRAIGSLIST.
Quote : | ""It will be sold out; it will be loud," said Lowe, who made Reynolds rock as a player. "I don't think our players will experience anything like what they will experience [tonight]. That's N.C. State at its best."" |
