That is moronic. There is no valid reason why the value people's votes should be inversely proportional to the population density of their state. It is completely unfair to make our votes, as North Carolinians, count for less than they would if we lived in any one of 40 other states.

and really they count for even less than that since our primaries are so late and our state is so dependably republican.

presidential candidates hardly stop here to take a shit, much less listen to what our concerns are.

^exactly, I'm sick of our elections boiling down to local issues in Florida and Ohio.

well, at least when they do it it's legal.

i'd have to check for myself as it's been a while since 201, but as someone quoted...

Gore really wished one of those New England states(small) would of voted for him in 2000....i think it was a traditionally Dem State that voted for Bush(4 electoral votes) which gave him the election....if Gore would of gotten those 4, Fl wouldnt of matered.

I'm not saying it's illegal. What it is.. is a bad law that will give the upper mid-east states control of the country.
